BIGMOOD · PRIVACY

Your mood. Your choice.

Clear information about what stays on your device and what happens when you share or purchase.

Effective date: October 22, 2026. This policy describes BigMood, the mood-display app from Zero76 Studios LLC. It is separate from our website privacy information.

Your moods stay on your device

BigMood lets you select moods and emojis, save Favorites, view Most Used, customize backgrounds, and prepare optional captions for sharing. You do not need a BigMood account, and the app does not ask for your name, email address, or a personal profile to use these features.

Favorites, emoji-use counts, selected colors and patterns, saved background choices, and display preferences are stored in the app’s local storage. Most Used is based on local emoji-use counts. These records are not sent to Zero76 Studios or RevenueCat by the app’s mood features. Device or computer backups may contain app data, depending on your backup settings.

Caption text is held in memory while you prepare a share. BigMood does not maintain a caption history in its preferences. An exported image can include your caption and may remain in the app’s temporary or cached files.

Sharing is your choice

When you choose to share, BigMood passes the selected text or generated image to your device’s native sharing system. The image may include a mood, background, optional caption, and BigMood branding. The app does not choose a recipient or automatically post it for you.

The app or service you select handles the content under its own privacy practices. Shared copies, saved images, and messages can remain with you, recipients, or that service after you remove data from BigMood. Avoid including information you do not want to share.

BigMood Pro purchases: planned for launch

BigMood Pro purchases through Apple and production RevenueCat integration are planned for launch and are not currently available. The current Release build does not initialize RevenueCat or process purchases. Free/Pro access previews do not create an Apple purchase or a purchased entitlement.

Once production purchases are enabled, Apple will process payments through the App Store. Apple will handle your Apple Account and payment details; BigMood will not receive your payment-card details. Read Apple’s App Store privacy information.

The planned integration will use RevenueCat to validate and restore purchases and determine whether Pro access is active. It will process purchase records and entitlement status with an automatically generated app-user identifier and technical information needed to operate the service, such as app, SDK, and operating-system information. RevenueCat will process purchase history for purchase functionality, fraud prevention, and purchase-related reporting and analytics. These records are separate from your local Favorites, mood-use counts, backgrounds, and captions.

The current integration code does not supply a custom account identifier, email address, or customer profile attributes to RevenueCat. Developer-only builds can separately enable RevenueCat Test Store to simulate transactions. These tests do not charge an Apple payment method, but test purchase and entitlement records can be processed by RevenueCat. Read RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy for its service practices and international processing.

We will review this policy against the production integration before enabling purchases. The planned purchase description does not mean that purchasing or restoration is available today.

Advertising, analytics, and permissions

BigMood has no advertising SDK or separate behavioral-analytics SDK, and its reviewed implementation does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app advertising tracking. Planned RevenueCat purchase reporting is distinct from Most Used, which is calculated locally. Website analytics applies when you visit our website and is described in the website privacy policy; Cloudflare Web Analytics is not integrated into BigMood’s app features.

The current features do not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or full photo library. Sharing uses the system sharing interface. Apple may separately process store activity or diagnostics according to your device settings and Apple’s policies.

Removing data and managing purchases

You can remove individual Favorites or use Clear All within Favorites. Most Used has its own Clear All action. These actions affect their respective collections; they do not erase every preference or your purchase history.

Deleting BigMood from the device removes its local app data container. Offloading the app preserves documents and data and is not the same as deleting it. Deleting the app does not remove copies in device or computer backups, images saved outside the app, or information already shared. Manage those copies in the relevant device settings, backup tools, or services.

If you use developer Test Store transactions, or production purchases when they become available, RevenueCat and, for Apple purchases, Apple retain purchase-related records under their own policies and applicable obligations. Deleting local app data does not cancel, refund, or erase an Apple purchase. When available, purchase restoration can re-establish access to an eligible purchase; it does not restore local Favorites or Most Used. Contact us if you have a question about purchase-related personal data or a privacy request.

Contacting support

If you email us, your message includes your email address and any text or attachments you choose to send. Zero76 Studios receives email through Apple’s iCloud Mail Custom Email Domain service. Apple and the providers involved in sending your message process the email to deliver and host it. See Apple’s Privacy Policy. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or sensitive personal information.

Apple may retain email service records or backup copies under its own applicable practices and obligations. Deleting a message from our mailbox does not promise immediate deletion from Apple’s systems, your mailbox, or other copies outside our control.

Support-email retention

We retain support emails for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, resolve problems, and maintain appropriate business records. Messages that are no longer needed are periodically deleted, unless continued retention is necessary for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.

For privacy questions or requests concerning information you have supplied, contact [email protected]. The rights available to you depend on applicable law; purchase records held by Apple or RevenueCat may also require a request to the relevant provider.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when BigMood’s data practices change and identify the effective date of the updated policy. For help using the app, visit BigMood Support.
