ZerosLoop is a free audio recording and looping app published by Zero76 Studios LLC. This policy describes the current Android release, based on its release audit. It does not describe or make claims about an iOS version. Information about visiting this website is covered separately in our website privacy policy.
Data collection
The current Android app does not require an account. Audio you choose to record is handled locally on your device; the app does not send recordings or personal data to Zero76 Studios. It has no advertising, analytics SDKs, or in-app purchases.
The audited Android release does not declare the Internet permission and does not initiate transmission of recordings or personal data. These statements describe this release’s app behavior, rather than the independent behavior of your operating system, app store, or other apps.
Microphone permission
ZerosLoop uses microphone access only when you record audio. The permission allows the app to capture sound for recording and looping. You can manage or revoke microphone permission in Android settings; recording requires that permission.
Local audio processing
Recording and audio processing take place locally on your device. The current app does not upload audio for remote processing or maintain a server-side recording library. Recordings may contain voices or other personal information, so consider what you record and obtain permission from others where needed.
Sharing and disclosure
The current Android app does not initiate transmission of your recordings or personal data and does not send audio to advertising or analytics services. If you separately provide a recording or other information to another person, app, or service, that recipient’s handling of the copy is outside ZerosLoop’s local processing.
Contacting support is separate from recording in the app. If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. Please send only what is needed to explain your question; you do not need to send a recording to ask a privacy question.
Storage, retention, and deletion
Temporary audio is managed locally on your device. This policy does not promise a fixed storage duration or that every temporary file is deleted immediately when recording stops or the app closes. Local file persistence and cleanup depend on the app’s implementation and device behavior.
You can use Android’s app settings to clear ZerosLoop’s app data. Clearing app data or uninstalling the app removes its app-specific local data; this is not a promise of secure erasure or deletion of copies outside that storage. Any copies you separately save, provide to others, or retain in device backups must be managed separately. This policy does not assert that Android backups include or exclude audio.
We do not hold a remotely uploaded recording library to delete on your behalf. Support emails are retained as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, resolve problems, and maintain appropriate business records. Messages no longer needed are periodically deleted, unless continued retention is necessary for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes. This does not promise deletion of copies in your mailbox or provider backups.
Children and privacy
The current Android app’s local recording behavior applies regardless of the user’s age: it has no accounts and does not transmit recordings or personal data to us. Children should avoid including personal information in support messages. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us so we can review and address the request.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page and its effective date when the practices described here change. New releases or platforms may have different behavior and should be reviewed against the policy that applies to them. The descriptions above reflect the audited Android release, rather than a guarantee about all future versions.
